VacuPanel High Performance Insulation

Vacupanels provide excellent insulation, however they are
VERY FRAGILE and CANNOT BE PUNCTURED!

Technautics suggests using SikaFlex 29 to adhere Vacupanels to either the interior or exterior of your icebox. Any exposed surfaces of the Vacupanel must be protected with material such as ABS plastic, .090" thick-sealed together with SikaFlex 291. Vacupanels can be joined together edge to edge, using SikaFlex 291 to fill the voids between the two surfaces.

For applications where manufactured panels do not fit completely over the area you are insulating, the remaining area can be filled with slab urethane with only minimal loss of insulation. Due to Vacupanel’s super insulating qualities, you can have a few empty spaces without significant loss of insulation.

Vacuum insulation has very high resistance values derived from the presence of the vacuum in the panel. If the vacuum is lost its R-value will drop. Please handle it carefully!
